Featuring muscle intelligence™ technology, mi-Theta Pro guarantees precision work to meet the needs of health care professionals. Launched in 2004, it remains the product with the best combination of price/technology/work effectiveness/simplicity of sessions.
With mi-Theta Pro, your treatment protocols are based on your needs.

Differentiated therapy: 2 mi-SENSORs for 2 distinct treatment areas

The 2 mi-SENSORs measure 2 different chronaxies, enabling stimulation using different parameters and adapted to muscular characteristics. This is particularly useful, for example, when working on both an atrophied muscle and another healthy muscle.

Involving your patients to improve efficiency

One of the objections to electrotherapy was the passivity of patients, who had the feeling they were subjected to the session! This is no longer the case thanks to mi-action mode. Patients actively participates in the session.

How it works
Patients initiate the contraction voluntarily, the sensor detects the start of the contraction, and the stimulator takes over automatically.
The electrically induced contraction is only triggered if patients voluntarily contracts their muscles.

Associated benefits

  • Patients know exactly when the contraction takes place because they trigger the contraction. As a result, they can anticipate the occurrence of the electrically induced contraction without being surprised, which further improves their comfort (both muscular and psychological).
  • Patients can associate a voluntary contraction with an electrically induced contraction. The work is more intense because the motor units recruited by the voluntary contraction are added to those activated by electrical stimulation. The muscle works more and more extensively.
  • This mode is especially beneficial to help retone the body and facilitate motor re-education in patients with neuromuscular disorders.

Reliable, easy adjustment of antalgic treatments

The control of stimulation energies during antalgic treatments is often tricky:
- Sensitivity varies from patient to patient.
- Visual control is difficult, as the tickling is not visible.
- Habituation prompts you to increase the stimulation energies beyond the MEP threshold, which is not desirable for a patient in pain.
- It is difficult to work in an ideal therapeutic efficiency zone for endorphinic programmes requiring pronounced muscle twitches.

How it works
The sensor continuously and automatically measures and adjusts the stimulation energy in order to prevent any muscular contraction during TENS programmes.
For programmes using low stimulation frequencies such as endorphinic, the optimal intensity adjustment zone is indicated on the stimulator screen throughout the session.

Associated benefits

  • Removes all doubt concerning the proper adjustment of stimulation energies: the stimulator limits the energy level and lowers it if it is too high. You no longer need to check it 3 to 4 times per session.
  • The patient works at the correct energy level, and as a result, works more efficiently and with greater comfort.
  • It is no longer necessary to check the stimulation energy settings for each patient several times.
